The Taunton Portuguese-American Civic Club, Inc. was founded in 1929. The Club was formed to provide a place of gathering for members of Portuguese descent within the Greater Taunton area. The goal of the club has been the promotion of fellowship within the Portuguese-American community. The club sponsors scholarships to deserving high school seniors, promotes civic groups and events, and supports and sponsors many athletic organizations. We also have an annual golf tournament and kid's Christmas party for the members of the club.
